How Toccobird Drawing Markup handles local drawings, photos, on-device scale recognition, Apple purchases, exports and visits to this website.

Drawings and working records stay in your local library

The app stores imported original files, working copies, annotations, measurements, project details, revision history and attached photos in its local application storage. You do not need an app account to use the drawing workspace.

The app does not provide a cloud drawing library or team synchronization service. Files you choose from a cloud file provider, and copies included in your device backups, may also be handled by the services you use and your device settings.

Scale recognition, photos and device permissions

Scale recognition reads PDF text and processes page images with Apple Vision on the device. This recognition process does not upload the drawing for cloud OCR processing.

Camera access is requested for site photos and supported LiDAR capture. You can choose images through the system photo picker. Photos, captions and any confirmed LiDAR evidence are saved with the related local records. These capture features are optional, and camera permission can be changed in iOS Settings.

App Store transactions and access status

The trial and full-version purchase use Apple StoreKit. Apple handles the Apple Account and payment transaction. The app receives verified transaction information needed to determine trial timing and purchase access; it does not receive your payment-card details.

The app keeps a local Keychain time record to support trial timing. Loading products, buying and restoring purchases can communicate with Apple. Removing local drawing records does not remove Apple purchase history or restart a claimed trial.

Exports and destinations you choose

The app creates export files locally and uses the system share sheet when you choose to share or save them. Your selected recipient, app or storage provider then handles its copy under its own practices.

Export files and .toccobirdbackup packages are not separately encrypted by the app. A full package can include original drawings, photos and revision history. Review its contents and choose a suitable destination before sharing.

Retention, Trash and copies outside the app

Local records remain available until removed. Moving a drawing or project to Trash keeps it in the library so it can be restored; this is not permanent erasure. Deleting the app through iOS removes its local drawing library, while device backups and separately saved or shared files must be managed in their respective locations.

Changes or deletion inside the app do not recall a file already shared with someone else. Review saved exports and backup copies separately if you no longer need them.

Visiting this website

This website uses locally hosted assets and does not include advertising trackers, analytics scripts, third-party font requests or contact forms. It does not ask you to upload drawings.

The hosting service may process necessary request information, such as an IP address, requested page, browser information and request time, to deliver and secure the website. The hosting service manages these request records.

Support correspondence and privacy questions

If you email support@ioncreate.com, your message, email address and any attachments are processed through email services so we can respond. Send only the information needed for your request, and remove confidential or personal details from sample drawings where possible.
